During this journaling workshop, participants will:

1. Discuss and prepare for challenges encountered during the winter season
2. Reflect on what parts of ourselves we want to leave behind or carry forth into the coming year
3. Look forward to springtime and longer days, asking ourselves: who do we want to be when we emerge?

About the Speakers 

Mary Beth Becker-Lauth is the Domestic Violence Community Educator at Women’s Advocates. Before moving to Outreach, Mary Beth spent three years answering the Women’s Advocates crisis hotline and bringing new residents into emergency shelter. She came to Women’s Advocates from St. Catherine University, where she ran the university chapter of It’s On Us, a national organization dedicated to ending sexual assault on college campuses.
