Capital Campaign: 2024-2027

Women’s Advocates is taking a major step forward in our mission to support victim-survivors of domestic violence by more than doubling our current capacity.

Through our Housing and Shelter Expansion Capital Campaign, we’re raising $16.4 million to acquire, renovate, and operate two new buildings—more than doubling our current capacity. Thanks to generous support from the Minnesota Office of Economic Opportunity and our community, $11.4 million has already been raised.

This expansion will add 24 new apartments and 72 beds for victim-survivors and youth, allowing them to co-shelter with their pets. The buildings will feature ADA-compliant units for individuals and families of all genders, sexualities, and abilities. The funding also supports five years of programming, ensuring wraparound services that go far beyond housing.

Renovations begin in November 2025, and we need your help to raise the final $5 million.

With your support, we can impact the lives of 192 victim-survivors and their children—and create safe, healing spaces that feel like home.
